Marika Bertoni nasce a Rovereto, studia, legge, cresce, dipinge, viaggia, scrive, fotografa, ama.

Il suo è un percorso sentito, necessario e tutt’ ora vivo: una ricerca continua e laboriosa, interiore ed esteriore, verso l’espressione dell’essenziale; un Cammino che nasce con la scrittura e con la pittura e che approda, con sorpresa, nella Fotografia e nell’elaborazione significante dell’immagine.

Tocca, sfiora, accarezza, sente, vede e cattura numerose capitali europee e metropoli extraeuropee, prende atto del caos ma anziché provare, con presunzione, a riordinarlo, prova a cogliere i piccoli circoli che all’ interno di esso si stagliano feroci e vorticosi.

Si laurea con il massimo dei voti presso la Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze presentando un ambizioso progetto sull’Identità (e sulla Non-Identità) nella fotografia e nel vissuto.

Il suo rapporto con la fotografia ha l’aria di una continua sfida, inizia interessandosi soprattutto al suo utilizzo come linguaggio artistico, per mezzo della camera oscura e del linguaggio digitale; ne scopre un utile strumento di indagine personale, presente in progetti legati all’autoritratto, come Just my self 2009, o Schegge 2009, giungendo a vedere, nella grande potenza dell’immagine, uno strumento di comunicazione dalla natura fortemente sociale, dove espressione personale e comunicazione oggettiva del mondo cercano di trovare un loro equilibrio, come nel progetto Unknown ID in cui indaga il rapporto tra individuo e spazio metropolitano contemporaneo e Blindness - Riflessione sull’immemorabile, ovvero sul dramma senza tempo della Shoah.

Attualmente vive, sogna, guarda, ascolta, progetta, riflette, scrive, lavora in Trentino.

Marika Bertoni, italian/austrian author, is born in Rovereto, studies, reads, grows, paints, travels, writes, pictures, loves.Hers is a truly felt trail, necessary and still alive: a constant research, in and outside, towards the essential’s expression; a Path that was born with writing and painting, a Path that lands, surprisingly, on Photography and in the processing of the image’s significant.Touches, skims, caresses, feels, sees and captures many European capitals and metropolis outside Europe, gets to terms with the chaos and, instead of presumptuously trying to fix it or re-order it, tries to capture the little circles that angrily and ferociously outline themselves in it.She graduates at the Fine Art Academy of Florence (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti), presenting an ambitious project on Identity (and Non-Identity) in photography and life.Her relationship with photography is a constant challenge, it begins as an interest mainly in its use as artistic language, through the use of the camera and the digital language; then she discovers a useful tool for self study, present in self-portraits projects like Just myself 2009, or Schegge 2009 (Splinters), finally coming to view, in the big power of the image, a communication tool with a strongly social nature, where personal expression and objective world communication try to find their balance, like in the project Unknown ID (In which she investigates the relationship between individual and contemporary metropolitan space) and Blindness (Reflection on the immemorial, the timeless drama of the Shoah).Currently she lives, dreams, observes, listens, makes projects, thinks, writes and works in Trentino.

Marika Bertoni wird in Rovereto geboren, sie lernt, liest, wächst heran, malt, reist, schreibt, fotografiert und liebt. Ihr Weg ist ein intensiver, ein notwendiger und immer auch ein lebendiger: eine ewige und mühsame Suche, innerlich wie äußerlich, nach dem Ausdruck des Essentiellen; ein Weg, der mit Schreiben und Malen beginnt und der überraschenderweise zur Fotografie und zur signifikanten Bearbeitung von Bildern führt.Sie erreicht, berührt, streichelt, fühlt, sieht und erfährt etliche Hauptstädte in Europa sowie Metropolen außerhalb Europas, sie nimmt das Chaos wahr, aber anstatt mit Überheblichkeit eine Neuordnung anzustreben, versucht sie die kleinen Kreise, die sich im Inneren desselben wild und schwindelerregend überschneiden, zu sammeln.Sie erwirbt den Hochschulabschluss mit der höchsten Punkteanzahl an der Freien Kunstakademie von Florenz und reicht ein ehrgeiziges Projekt über die Identität (und über die Nicht-Identität) in der Fotografie und im Erlebten ein.Ihr Verhältnis zur Fotografie ist von ständiger Herausforderung geprägt und beginnt beim Interesse an ihrer Anwendung als künstlerisches Ausdrucksmittel mittels der Dunkelkammer und der digitalen Sprache; sie entdeckt ein nützliches Werkzeug zur persönlichen Erforschung, welches in Projekten in Verbindung mit Selbstdarstellung präsent ist, wie Just my self 2009, oder Schegge 2009, wobei in der großartigen Macht des Bildes ein Kommunikationswerkzeug sichtbar wird, welches von seiner Natur her stark sozial geprägt ist, wo persönlicher Ausdruck und objektive, weltliche Kommunikation versuchen ihr Gleichgewicht zu finden, wie auch im Projekt Unknown ID, in welchem sie die Beziehung zwischen dem Individuum und dem modernen städtischen Raum untersucht, aber auch Blindness – Reflexion über das Unerinnerbare, das heißt im zeitlosen Drama der Shoah.Zurzeit lebt, träumt, beobachtet, lauscht, plant, reflektiert, schreibt und arbeitet sie im Trentino.
